CLASS DESCRIPTION – MUSICAL THEATRE (Ages 7-11)
This high energy class includes singing, acting and Broadway style dancing for beginners to more experienced students. The class is team taught by
two instructors - a Musical Director/Vocal Coach and a Choreographer/Acting Coach. Age appropriate Broadway scripts and scores from musicals such as ALICE IN WONDERLAND, HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL, WILLY WONKA AND THE CHOCOLATE FACTOR and PETER PAN are used to teach stage movement, vocal placement and production and acting technique. The course ends with a classroom presentation for family and friends of song, dance and dialogue scenes.

CLASS DESCRIPTION – MUSICAL THEATRE (Ages 12 & Up)
Two instructors, a Musical Director/Vocal Coach and a Choreographer/Acting Coach, divide this class into voice, dance and acting instruction. Broadway style combinations, turns and dance breaks are taught. Voice instruction includes diction, harmony, ear training, phrasing, breath control, music dynamics, lyric interpretation and vocal production while dancing. Scripts from Broadway shows such as WICKED, LEGALLY BLONDE, HAIRSPRAY, SEUSSICAL, ANNIE and DROWSY CHAPERONE are used to teach performance techniques. A classroom presentation with song, dance and dialogue scenes is presented to family and friends on the last day of the course.

Class Description
Broadway Kids is a two week musical theatre class that is team-taught by two Dallas theatre professionals. A vocal teacher and a choreographer use a variety of age appropriate Broadway scores as a text books to teach young people movement for the theatre, vocal instruction and presentation skills. The goal is to allow students the opportunity to experience various styles of Broadway songs and dances. This class is perfect for kids who have experience on the stage as well as those who just want a chance to experience performing. Best of all, the two weeks end with a classroom presentation for family and friends! Cost $300
